Candidate for the legislative election in the 8th district of French nationals living abroad (Israel/Palestine, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Malta)
The dissolution of the National Assembly offers a unique opportunity: to sweep away the pretensions of the far right to govern France and to obtain a left-wing majority.
I am running, as the candidate for the cross-party New Popular Front, to lead this fight and to represent you in the 8th constituency of French people living abroad.
Born and raised in Tel Aviv, I became French in 2016 through naturalisation. I am a long-time activist, a cosmopolitan, a feminist and a polyglot: fluent in French, English, Hebrew and Arabic. My life has always been at the intersection of culture and politics. I founded the well-known Andalus publishing house, specialising in the translation of Arabic literature into Hebrew. I also participated in the founding of the Balad Party, for which I was Spokesperson and Parliamentary Attaché.
Above all, I am an activist on the ground and in practice. All my life I have helped people to assert their rights in daily life, and this is the primary concern of my political engagement.
Salam Ismail is my running-mate, a Franco-Palestinian born in Gaza and naturalised French in 2022. Salam (which means “peace” in Arabic) is a civil engineer and a musician. Cosmopolitan, feminist, and polyglot as well, he lives in France and is fluent, also, in Italian, the language of his wife.
Since October, our constituency has mourned tens of thousands of Palestinian and Israeli civilian deaths. The indiscriminate bombardments, the complete destruction of infrastructure, the taking of hostages, and the imprisonment of civilians, all are war crimes. And no war crime justifies another. By calling for a cease-fire, we are fighting for the future of the two peoples of Israel and Palestine, but also for those of the entire Mediterranean. There is no alternative to living together except for dying together.
We wish to send a message against Israel’s political actions, but not against the Israeli people; against anti-semitism and all forms of racism; for civic equality; for justice; for international law. We want to remind you that France must act to remain faithful to its values.
Our candidacy offers French citizens living abroad the opportunity to uphold the values of the Republic: to work together for the French model of the rule of law, for culture, for a land of asylum, social security, retirement, social housing, and integration, which provides for these rights with excellence. Binational candidates, we offer another perspective on the questions of immigration, integration, and loyalty to common values and international solidarity.
As an MP, I will work for the improvement of consular services, for the accessibility of French schools in the countries of our constituency, for tax justice, for retirement rights, for increased public budgets and the strengthening of social protections, to facilitate administrative procedures abroad and back in France, and will be available to listen to you on all daily issues that concern you. I will serve my fellow citizens of the constituency, whatever their affiliation, while upholding my political convictions and values.
Former MP Meyer Habib, Netanyahu’s spokesperson and a promoter of alliances between the right and the far right, has held a seat in the Assembly for too long. For my part, I will be the spokesperson for all the citizens of the constituency and the values of the Republic, everywhere and for all.

Je suis née à Tel Aviv et naturalisée française. Féministe, écologiste et militante de toujours pour la justice et l’égalité, ma vie est un va-et-vient entre culture et politique.
J’ai notamment fondé une maison d’édition, spécialisée dans la traduction de la littérature arabe en hébreu.
SALAM ISMAIL, SUPPLÉANT
Je me présente avec Salam ISMAIL, franco-palestinien né à Gaza. Salam (qui signifie paix en arabe) est musicien et ingénieur. Il vit en France avec son épouse italienne et c’est pour offrir une voix d’espoir face aux extrêmes droites et aux nationalismes qu’il candidate à mes côtés.

JE TRAVAILLERAI POUR LES FRANÇAIS•ES DE LA 8e CIRCONSCRIPTION :
- Pour l'amélioration des services consulaires ; revenir sur la suppression du corps diplomatique.
- Pour la liberté de circulation, pour le droit de s'installer ailleurs et de revenir sans obstacles administratifs.
- Pour faciliter les démarches administratives à l’étranger – pour leur dématérialisation, mais en gardant la possibilité d’un contact humain. Réintégrer l’accueil téléphonique et réduire les délais de prise de rendez-vous.
- Pour faciliter le retour en France, particulièrement pour les familles modestes : accès plus facile aux logements sociaux, suppression du délai de carence dès le premier jour du retour définitif en France, inscription prioritaire à l’école publique.
- Pour l'accessibilité des écoles françaises dans les pays de la circonscription et l’augmentation de la participation de l’État français au financement des frais de scolarité.
- Pour la reconnaissance des diplômes qui doivent être beaucoup plus des passerelles que des barrières.
- Pour l’amélioration de l’accès aux droits à la retraite, à l’étranger comme au retour en France.
- Pour l'augmentation du budget et le renforcement de la protection sociale ; informer sur les dispositifs de lutte contre les violences faites aux femmes ; défendre les droits LGBTQIA+
- Pour lutter contre l’évasion fiscale et la double-imposition ; pour défendre la progressivité́ de l’impôt ; pour l’égalité fiscale et l’exonération de CSG-CRDS sur le patrimoine des Français hors Europe.

Répondre aux urgences qui abîment votre vie et empêcher l’arrivée de l’extrême droite violente et haineuse au pouvoir.
Répondre à l’urgence sociale par le blocage des prix des biens de première nécessité, l’augmentation du SMIC et du minimum contributif et des allocations logement (APL), ainsi que par la relance de la construction du logement social.
Investir dans une éducation publique de qualité et universelle par la gratuité des cantines scolaires, des repas à 1€ pour les étudiant·es, moins de 19 élèves par classe et la fin de ParcourSup.
Abroger les réformes injustes du quinquennat Macron : la réforme des retraites, les réformes de l’assurance chômage, la loi immigration et la suppression de l’impôt sur la fortune (ISF).
Apaiser le pays en redéployant la police de proximité, en luttant résolument contre toutes les formes d’antisémitisme, de racismes et d’islamophobie.
Relever le défi climatique grâce à une loi énergie-climat, à un plan visant la neutralité carbone en 2050 et à un moratoire sur les grands projets d’infrastructures autoroutières.
Défendre les droits des femmes par l’égalité salariale, un congé menstruel et une loi intégrale contre les violences sexistes et sexuelles.
Faire de l’eau un bien commun par la gratuité des premiers mètres cubes d’eau, la fin des projets de méga-bassines et le passage en régie publique locale.
Défendre la paix par un soutien indéfectible au peuple ukrainien, la livraison d’armes nécessaires et l’annulation de sa dette extérieure. Agir pour un cessez-le- feu immédiat à Gaza et la libération des otages israéliens. Reconnaître l’État de Palestine aux côtés de l’État d’Israël.
Protéger notre santé en commençant par des embauches pour l’hôpital public, un pôle public du médicament et l’interdiction des polluants éternels.
